Towards Mutuality of Impact - 14-18 May 2018 (leaflet)
Kedge Business School in Marseille hosted this leaflet for a five-day global convening (14–18 May 2018) organized by the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI) and partners including Conférence des Grandes Écoles. The event brought together change makers, educators, and sustainability networks to address a critical challenge: while higher education institutions have generated numerous responsible leadership initiatives worldwide, their collective impact falls short of achieving systemic transformation. The gathering explored how diverse initiatives can align around shared purpose, overcome organizational ego, and shift from maximizing individual impact to optimizing their role within larger systems of change. The programme featured keynote presentations, collaborative inquiry sessions examining five core themes, and workshops on emerging topics including business school ratings, student sustainability organizing, the SDG Accord, and the Sulitest sustainability literacy initiative. By convening local student organizations, regional networks, and international partnerships alongside UN-level initiatives, the event sought to deepen understanding of mutualistic collaboration and advance SDG 17 (partnerships for the goals). This resource demonstrates how management education institutions are working to catalyze interconnected, systemic approaches to global responsibility.
