Virtual Peer-Learning

To reduce the environmental footprint of international collaboration while maintaining relational depth, GRLI pioneered approaches for virtual peer-learning "collaboratories" (vCollabs). By applying Whole Person Learning principles in digital environments, GRLI demonstrated that transformational dialogue and trust-building are possible online—not only in face-to-face retreats. This work has expanded participation in GRLI-style learning spaces, including increasing access for partners and participants in the Global South, and reducing reliance on air travel to convene meaningful collaboration.
