The Gap Frame
The Gap Frame is a normative framework that translates the SDGs into relevant national priorities, identifying the 'gap' between where a country is and where it needs to be to meet SDG-aligned outcomes. Developed by GRLI partners (notably Business School Lausanne), it has been promoted through the network as a practical tool for issue-centred learning and strategic alignment—helping institutions ground global goals in local reality. GRLI's catalytic role has been to platform the framework, connect it into education and leadership conversations, and encourage its use as a focusing device for sustainability efforts in business schools and organisations.
