University of Dundee School of Business

Business school offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with a focus on real-world application, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement in Scotland.

UDSB's vision is to "Develop Responsible Leaders for a Sustainable Future". Partnering with the GRLI network would significantly support this vision. By engaging with a global community that shares our commitment, our Business School can implement, contribute to, and share best practices in responsible leadership and sustainability.

The University of Dundee School of Business delivers research, teaching, and community engagement across accounting and finance, economics, and management and marketing. Since achieving autonomous status in 2019, the school has positioned itself as an institution committed to developing innovative and responsible leaders for a sustainable future.

The school's commitment to responsible leadership and sustainability is embedded in its strategic direction. It became a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in February 2020 and was recognized by PRME for excellence in reporting in May 2022. The school actively works toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals through its teaching, research, impact, and operations. This commitment extends to embedding ethics, responsibility, and sustainability across its curriculum and research activities.

The school's approach to responsible leadership is reflected in its partnerships and accreditations. It holds accreditation from AACSB International and is pursuing EQUIS accreditation, while also achieving Small Business Charter recognition. The school engages with local communities through initiatives such as the Help to Grow programme, which supports small and medium enterprises and fosters sustainable business growth in the region.

With over 1,100 students from diverse international backgrounds and a faculty representing scholars from around the world, the school creates a rich learning environment. The school's emphasis on research-informed teaching, combined with its focus on social impact and community engagement, positions it as an institution where business education serves broader societal goals. This alignment with responsible leadership principles makes the school a natural partner for the GRLI community.
