Montessori Centre International (MCI) is one of the world’s leading providers of Montessori training to meet the needs of the Educators and specifically Early Years communities in the UK and around the world. To date, they have trained over 9,000 Montessori educators worldwide.
Montessori has 65 years experience in training teachers and training trainers. Since 2015 they have operated a blended learning approach to teaching students across 70 countries and have a student/academic driven VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) and would be happy to share their experience of developing effective online teaching.
They would also like to share some of our experience in setting up training hubs and train the trainer and bring in the voice of younger people into what leadership could and should look like. Currently they are developing a new Montessori in Leadership programme to bring the Montessori approach and model of leadership as a guiding rather than directing. They would welcome the opportunity to learn from others and partnering with other organisations to develop this programme. In August 2020 they set up the International Montessori Institute with Leeds Beckett University and also have the ability to collaborate on research and the leadership module being developed there for those training to be teachers.
