Presented at the Rio+20 Earth Summit, the 50+20 Vision called for business schools to shift from being "best in the world" to "best for the world," reframing the purpose of management education around societal progress within planetary boundaries. GRLI convened and led the work in partnership with allied organisations, translating a bold aspiration into a coherent vision and a body of resources that educators and leaders could use to legitimise change inside their institutions. The Vision remains a defining blueprint for the sector's transformation, influencing how schools think about social purpose, responsible leadership, and the 'third mission' of societal engagement.
