HESI (Higher Education Sustainability Initiative)

HESI galvanises higher education's contribution to the SDGs through teaching, research, campus operations, and policy engagement, bringing universities into closer alignment with global sustainability priorities. GRLI has played a catalytic role as a founding member and active contributor, supporting governance and working groups and helping strengthen the collaborative voice of higher education—especially in UN-linked processes such as the High-Level Political Forum. For GRLI, HESI is also a bridge: it connects management education transformation to the broader higher education sustainability movement and expands opportunities for cross-network collaboration on urgent issues such as climate action.
